Highlights Launches Highlights at Home to Help with Distance Learning
As the world around us changes, Highlights has been thinking about how we can best support you so that you can help support the families and children you serve around the world. There’s no question that children will be talking about these days for the rest of their lives, so to help build happy memories amid all this uncertainty, the childhood experts at Highlights have created Highlights at Home, a free twice-weekly digital delivery of free content.
Featuring stories, puzzles, videos, games, physical activities, and different acts of kindness, Highlights at Home encourages children and parents to laugh, learn and strengthen family bonds. These content collections are organized around kid-friendly themes like Things to Solve, Things to Make, and Things to Do for Others. Along with these at-home activities, each bundle includes a message from Highlights Editor in Chief and Chief Purpose Officer Christine French Cully offering tips, guidance, and inspiration for ways to lean into the unpredictability of these days.
For new content, available every Tuesday and Friday, visit the Highlights website or follow us on Facebook. We encourage you to download and share this content on your social platforms, website and anywhere you reach families and children. If you are interested in the entire content collection for customizing to your market, please contact us and we will be happy to help you share Highlights at Home. As a Highlights partner, we want to support you and your customers any way we can through these times.
Children may remember the days of no school and no trips to park, but more than that, they will fondly remember the days filled with spending time with family, playing games, baking treats, and learning new skills. Our first offering is available here, it’s called Find Your Funny Bone—and we hope you do!
