This week our team went to Book Expo America, or BEA, in New York City to talk with many of our partners. This celebration of storytelling is the largest gathering of book trade professionals in North America; it was attended by over 36,000 visitors and included 13,00 exhibitions. It was energizing to hear our partner’s thoughts about our content and how it positively impacts their business and customers. The rights and permissions industry is continuously changing and evolving, and so are we. That’s why BEA was an opportunity for us to understand how we can further support our partners through marketing efforts. “BEA is a concentrated reminder of the exciting developments that publishers are creating to keep people, especially children, engaged in reading. Kids today are growing up in a changing environment, and how publishers are responding and adapting to kids’ needs in the digital age is really inspiring. Everyone is working hard to give kids meaningful experiences around reading again. Obviously, we’re thinking about this all year, but having three designated days to really see all this happening is great,” said Vandana Agrawal, Senior Director of International.
